Playko are a small technology, gaming and virtual reality software company, based in Oxfordshire. They remain community based, even to the extent of having a virtual reality studio within a school in order to help educate the local community. One of their most successful applications is a real life treadmill which can simulate the experience of snowboarding or skiing. This 3D combination of a gymnasium style treadmill and VR technology is great for training snow skills (dry slopes can be a bit boring) and also a decent and different kind of workout (running on a treadmill can be equally dull)
