Jadestone

Anyway, enough of my wasted youth. Championship Manager is owned and created by Eidos Interactive, but Jadestone became involved in developing the online version of this computer / console game. Sadly, this partnership ended in 2010 when Eidos decided to close the venture.

The company is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of the giant American company Scientific Games Corporation (SG Gaming), which also owns big names in the gaming industry like Bally Technologies and Williams Interactive (WMS).

Companies acquired by Scientific Games continue to operate as independent brands, so the Jadestone name lives on in the industry. It is currently involved in the development of software platforms on which online casinos are run.

Several casinos operate with Jadestone software providing the infrastructure powering their sites, so although there are no actual Jadestone slots or casino games to play, as a player, you can still experience their efforts. Their software is distinctive and certainly does stand out from the crowd. Their crowning glory is their innovative Casino Matrix, which enables eager gamers to play up to to four different games at the same time. This seems to be going down well, with positive reviews from players being received from around the globe. I can’t say that I’ve tried it myself though: multi-tasking is not one of my strengths 0 one game at a time is enough for me!

Perhaps the best known casino to run this company’s software is Unibet, but there around half a dozen others which are licenced and regulated for UK based players. These include bwin, Monte Carlo and Mr Smith Casino.
