BBQ Bingo is a new Dragonfish design. It’s a really colourful and eye-catching home page, with a lively depiction of a British seaside scene. There’s sunshine, beach huts, deck chairs, a traditional seaside pier… And a seagull preparing the barbecue! If you’ve been to some real seaside resorts, you might prefer the seagull to be ON the barbecue – they can be pretty aggressive those gulls. Anyway, the bingo on offer is 90 and 75 ball, together with Dragonfish’s special version of speed bingo, High 5. There is a very good range of alternative instant games provided too.
It’s all brilliantly rendered, and everything runs like clockwork, as you would expect from these designers. The prizes and jackpots are as attractive as the perfectly rendered graphics. Unfortunately, the theme does not really stretch beyond the home page. No effort has been made to customise the promotions or VIP scheme. They could have offered ice creams instead of jewels… There could have been a sand castle themed promotion… Oh well…
Overall, it’s an attractive design, with the bingo and gameplay up to the usual exceptional standard from this software giant. It’s a welcome addition to the Dragonfish stable, but stylish graphics aside, it isn’t really offering anything radically new. But if you feel like a change of scenery and a whiff of sea air, this could be the site for you.
