Broadway Gaming Network

Broadway Gaming Network is a very small network indeed. I fact, it’s so small that it comes close to failing to meet the definition of the term “network” entirely. It consists of just four sites. But before this mere huddle of sites is dismissed as unworthy, it must be pointed out that these four sites are very good indeed. Quality not quantity.

They are all powered by Microgaming software, so they could be seen as a quirky off-shoot of the Microgaming Network (see separate link). They are all regarded as safe to play in the United Kingdom, as they are registered and licensed in Malta. This Mediterranean territory is covered by the UK Gambling Commission. The traditional forms of bingo are generally provided, with 90 and 75 ball (American) options available. The wagering requirement on each is a relatively standard five times your bonus, but they do NOT include your original deposit in this. This makes the rules a bit more generous than they first appear. It means that if, for example, you make a deposit of £10 and receive an introductory bonus of £20, you would need to spend £100 (5 x £20) before requesting a withdrawal. This is quite competitive by industry standards. All the usual credit and debit payment methods are provided, along with some e-payment options too.

But here is where the similarities end. Apart from the legal and technical stuff, you would struggle to notice that these designs are on the same network. Unlike some other networks, where each site can tend to look and feel a bit like they’ve been copied from the same instruction manual, these sites really are very different. As there are only four, let’s take each title in order. Butlers Bingo is perhaps the biggest name, and is one of the leading Bingo sites. As the name may suggest, it does somehow embody classiness. In its own, somewhat quiet and understated way, it pampers you, without any of the flashy brashness of some of the more show off, shouty sites. No flashing neon. No annoying pop ups, just unobtrusive sophistication. The butler will look after you. The theme is carried throughout the site – not just a pretty design which goes no further than the home page. Even the well worded instructions feel like a personal guide. And just in case you’re TOO distinguished to have ever played bingo before, there’s even a guide to the traditional “bingo lingo” – a feature you won’t find on many other sites.

Dotty Bingo is probably the simplest site. Unlike the others, it has only the “British” 90 ball version of bingo and it’s a real no nonsense “let’s get on with the bingo” kind of site. Glossy has a more “newspaper” sort of look to it, as if you’ve just strayed onto a version of The Sun or The Mirror by mistake. Without the ridiculous puns or celebrity stories obviously. It’s simply designed, but very playable. Finally there’s Rehab, which is an Irish site with a charity angle: with some of its profits going to worthwhile causes in the Irish Republic and the UK. Again, a completely different look and feel to the others, but very nice to play, and perhaps giving you that warm feeling that at least your guilty pleasure may provide a few pence to deserving charities.

So, in conclusion, Broadway Gaming Network’s sites are definitely worth a try. On the other hand, because they are all so varied, it may take some time…
