Spy Bingo is yet another addition to the empire of Dragonfish. The home page features a well-drawn depiction of a couple of glamorous looking spy characters. Being top secret, they don’t have names, but Mr Spy is well dressed in a suit and bow tie, with a suitably cool but menacing looking pistol. His alluring assistant carries her own weapon, whilst wearing improbable high heels and a flowing red dress. The bingo featured is hardly a secret – it’s the usual fayre of 90 and 75 Ball, but there are plenty of other games to play if this is insufficient action for your super spy gaming. It is all reliably smooth and professional of course, but the theme is not carried beyond the home page. There are no 007 Promotions or Licenced to Thrill Bonuses, just the usual standard issue templated features.
To be honest, it’s difficult to get too enthusiastic about this title. We hard working reviewers at Busy Bee see quite a few Dragonfish designs, and some have clearly taken a fair bit of effort to construct. This is not one of those. This feels like it has just flopped off the production line. There is nothing wrong with it as such. Well, apart from the complicated and expensive wagering requirements. But Spy Bingo is no thriller. Like its designers, it’s just going through the motions.
